F.1 Project management
The major scopes of this action include the effective administration, scientific and financial coordination and proper implementation of the project, as well as the continuation of specific activities after the end of the project, through the preparation of an After-LIFE Plan. For the achievement of these goals, the following bodies have been established:
- Project Management Team (PMT), which is responsible for the overall management of the project and the preparation of the reports submitted to the EC. For this reason, its members have regular meetings, in person or electronically, to monitor and assess the project's progress achieved. In addition, the PMT ensures the communication and coordination of the project's committees (Stakeholders Committee, Scientific Committee) and the communication with the External Monitoring Team and European Commission.
- Scientific Committee (SC), which provides advice and evaluates the scientific quality of the work undertaken for this project. It is noted that the members of SC are comprised not only by staff members from beneficiaries, but also from three external experts with very specific scientific background, related to the project's activities:
This action also includes the elaboration of the After-LIFE Plan. The After-LIFE Plan will be implemented after the end of the LIFE-KEDROS project and will provide details regarding the actions that will be carried out after the end of the project, indicating the timeline, the responsible beneficiary for their implementation and the financial source that will be used.
F.2: Project Monitoring and Compilation of information
This action is designed to monitor the progress of the project and to evaluate the timely and proper implementation of the project's actions. This is a key action in order to ensure that the project is implemented according to the project's proposal and timeframe. The monitoring of the project's implementation is carried out by a specific protocol developed under the frame of this action.
